When applying for permanent residence, following requirement is to consider
“Not being fined or imprisoned”
Murder is out of the question, but if you are driving a car, you will commit minor crimes such as speeding.

Points are awarded for traffic violations. If the number of violation points is 6 points or less, it will be a minor violation, and you will have to pay a “foul penalty”.
And a violation score of 6 points or more will be a serious violation and a so-called red ticket will be issued. Paying is a “penalty”.

3 points for overspeeding between 25 and 29 km/h, 6 points for over 30 km/h.

And you have to wait 5 years after paying the fine.

永住申請をするときに気になるのが
「罰金刑や懲役刑などを受けていないこと」
という要件です。
殺人などはもってのほかですが、自動車を運転しているとスピード違反などで軽い犯罪をおこしてしまいます。
交通違反の場合、どこまでが永住申請に響かないで、どこからが影響があるか？が心配なところです。
交通違反をすると点数がつきます。この違反点数が6点以下のならば軽微な違反となり、納めるのは「反則金」となります。
そして6点以上の違反点数は重度の違反となり、通称赤切符を切られます。納めるのは「罰則」になります。
この境目で明暗が分かれます。そしてそれが表れるのがスピード違反です。
超過速度が25～29キロなら3点、30キロを超えると6点となります。
30キロオーバーをして警察につかまり、切符を切られたらそれであなたの永住申請は遠のきますので、運転をする方はスピード違反は気を付けた方がよいでしょう。
そして、罰金を支払ってから5年を経過するのを待つ必要があります。
永住を目指す方は、できるだけ運転をしない方が良いでしょう。運転をする必要がある方は、スピードには気を付けましょう。
